To be honest Valentine’s Day is not really my thing. It’s a bit too cutesy - cuddly, and over the years I have always ended up
disappointing my girlfriends. This year was different though. I found the love
of my life and this V-day was our first together.
For the first time, I didn’t want to come up short. I have
been thinking of popping the question for a while now, and it seems Valentine’s is as good as any other day to take the
plunge.
Proposal equals rings,
and I had no idea where to start looking! I entered a couple of jewelry stores and came out totally confused!
A standard, off-the-shelf
ring didn’t seem worth all the money I would spend on it – the way I see it, if
I have to splurge on a diamond ring at least it should be unique.

it right away. The customer reviews were very positive, and the process of ordering bespoke jewelry
seemed logical and straightforward, so I gave them a call.
The easiest AND the hardest part of the process was the
design! I sort of knew the basics I
wanted to include – my girlfriend’s favorite
flower, her birthstone and I knew she
liked delicate designs as opposed to over-sized rocks. But, I had no idea about how to go about putting it all together!
Here the ItsHot sales representative was immensely helpful –
he ensured I spoke to the designers and conveyed my ideas and was very patient
through all the back and forth that went on during the design process.
He didn’t give up through all my indecisiveness! Finally, the design was done, and I loved it. After formally approving the 3D
drawing of the design, I paid the amount,
and it was delivered well before time! It was exactly
right!
As for the proposal – it went off very smooth. I didn’t even
have to say anything! She saw the ring and said yes RIGHT AWAY (she later
confessed that it would have been impossible to say no to something created
with so much thought and love)!
I am so pleased with my decision to follow
my instincts and go with a bespoke engagement ring, but I could never have
pulled it off without ItsHot jewelry!
And one
thing is for sure, she never expected it! So got some serious brownie points
for surprising her!
